McCauley Adams

Manager, Brown-Forman Brand
Brown-Forman Corporation

McCauley Adams is the Manager for the Brown-Forman Brand. In this relatively new role, she will partner with colleagues across all areas of Brown-Forman to educate and inform all stakeholders, internally, and externally, on what the Brown-Forman brand truly is.

McCauley brings 15 years of beverage alcohol industry experience into this most recent role. She began her career in San Jose, Costa Rica as a sales representative for DISPAL, Distribuidora Panamericana de Licores. After a year in Costa Rica, McCauley moved to San Antonio, Texas where she worked for Republic National Distributing Company for two years. In her first year, she was the Hispanic Marketing Manager, working specifically with the Hispanic Market in San Antonio and Austin, Texas. In her second year, McCauley moved into the general market where she managed several sales representatives in on premise spirits.

McCauley moved into her first role at Brown-Forman, in 2008, as the Jack Daniel’s Market Manager for Georgia, based in Atlanta. After several years and roles in the sales organization, McCauley moved back to her hometown of Louisville to begin a new chapter in her career as a Global Talent Acquisition Partner. In this role, McCauley was able to interact with prospective employees in various departments of the corporation, opening her eyes even more to the industry and the company.

In May of 2017, McCauley became a part of the corporate communications department as the Manager of Communications and Brand History. In this role, she took over the management of the company’s archives, by moving them back to Louisville after nearly 2 decades with the History Factory outside of Washington, D.C. The foundation for this work was solid so the next steps were to hire an archivist and to start using the assets more than had ever been used previously. Moving the archives closer to home was one of the first steps into launching and planning the company’s sesquicentennial.

McCauley’s role emerged into the corporate brand manager based on the work she had accomplished with the archives and the successful planning of the company’s 150th. In this new role, she will continue to work with all areas of the company, finding ways to communicate Brown-Forman’s culture and strategy to all stakeholders, both internal and external.

McCauley holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN and an MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She lives in Louisville, KY with her husband Grant, daughters Polly and Franny, and dog Rupp.
