John Erickson is VP of global brand marketing at Brooks Brothers, America’s oldest apparel retailer, founded in New York City in 1818. In his role, he is responsible for leading a team of content producers, and for creative, social media, retail marketing and advertising. Celebrating Brooks Brothers’ 200th anniversary in 2018, John and the team have been sharing how Brooks Brothers has been a fashion disruptor for 200 years.
Since joining Brooks Brothers in 2013, his role has evolved to lead all internal communications, social media, digital transformations and marketing. Before then, he worked at Levi Strauss & Co. on its global communications and corporate affairs teams. Previous apparel experience includes marketing and operations for Kiton, based in Naples, Italy, and he trained in restaurant hospitality with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group in New York.
John’s Midwestern roots are evidenced by graduating from Northwestern University. Today, he lives in Brooklyn, New York.
