Jamie Butler is the Global Brand Manager for Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey at Brown-Forman, one of the largest American-owned spirits and wine companies. Jamie is an integral part of the group responsible for the development and deployment of global business and brand strategies, along with the resulting marketing mix components. Working with marketing teams from all around the world, he is also responsible for the quality and development of global communications content across all consumer touchpoints.
In 2016 Jamie led the 150th anniversary programme, a celebration of 150 years of whiskey making at America’s oldest registered distillery. The multi-faceted yearlong campaign was the biggest in Jack Daniel’s brand history.
Jamie joined Brown-Forman in 2006 and has worked across a range of Brown-Forman brands, in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Marketing Manager, Jack Daniel’s for the UK.
Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Jamie began his career at Diageo where he held a number of sales and marketing roles working across brands including Guinness, Smirnoff and Johnnie Walker.
Jamie is from the UK but currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
