Chris Winston is the chief marketing officer of Special Olympics Illinois and co-chair of the Special Olympics 50th anniversary marketing and communications committee. He has been with the organization for 6½ years and is responsible for multiple corporate partnerships, including Subaru’s Share the Love campaign and Finish Line Sports.
Prior to joining Special Olympics, he played various roles across different Chicago media companies including LITE FM, WLUP FM and WDRV FM, and as one of the first employees at The Drive. Additionally, he has a background in the outdoors industry including Van Wagner, CBS Outdoor and OUTFRONT Media.
He grew up in Barrington, Illinois, and received a BA in Economics from the University of Iowa. Today, he lives in Oak Park, Illinois, with his loving wife of 24 years, Grace, and two sons Cassidy and Ryan.
